Project Positivity:This is a school wide program that works to empower students to build positive relationships by teaching positive psychology’s 24 character strengths. We believe that all 24 strengths exist in every person — and in all cultures of the world. Ranging from bravery and forgiveness to integrity and gratitude, these character strengths are the foundation of The Positivity Project’s model. Ask your child to share what they are learning.
Around the World in 180 Days
I think that one of the most important lessons a child can learn is how to love and appreciate other cultures, people and places.
Throughout the year the students are going to be traveling around the world with me (from the safety of our classroom of course)! Each day they will have a cultural minute where they will learn facts about countries and cultures around the world.
